What wash and fold means
Wash and fold, sometimes called fluff and fold or drop-off laundry, means you hand over a bag of dirty laundry and get it back clean and folded. You don't sort, load, wait or fold. At Laundry Roundup we sort lights and darks, wash and dry everything, and fold it by hand at our Express Laundry Center store. You pay by the pound, so you only pay for what you send.
Two ways to use it
In-store drop-off: bring your laundry to 2650 Hickory Tree Road in Balch Springs any day between 7 AM and 11 PM (last wash at 10 PM). Drop-off wash and fold is $1.50 per pound with a 20 lb minimum and is ready in 24 hours or less. Same-day on drop-offs costs nothing extra.

Tips for a better wash and fold order
Empty pockets of pens, lip balm and tissues, since they cause most laundry mishaps. Put anything that should be washed cold or kept out of the dryer in a separate small bag and label it. Keep dry-clean-only items at home. If you're sending comforters, bedding or blankets, mention them so we can give you pricing for bulky items before we start.
How we price wash and fold
Wash and fold is priced by weight because it's the fairest way to charge for laundry: a light week costs less, a heavy one costs more. We weigh your laundry at the store after pickup or when you drop it off, then text you the weight and total. Drop-off is $1.50 per pound with a 20 lb minimum; pickup and delivery is $1.89 per pound with a $35 minimum; same-day pickup and delivery is $2.69 per pound with a pickup by 11 AM. Comforters, bedding and blankets are priced separately because they take more space in the machines. Ask for pricing.
