Wash & fold delivery in Uptown
Uptown is one of the most walkable parts of Dallas, but a walk to a laundromat with a week of clothes is nobody's idea of a good evening. Between McKinney Avenue, State Thomas and the West Village, a lot of people live in mid-rise and high-rise apartments where the in-unit washer is small, the shared laundry room is busy, or there is no machine at all. Laundry Roundup takes that chore off your list: text us, set your bag out or meet us at the lobby, and we bring it back washed, dried and folded.
If you live near Klyde Warren Park or along the McKinney Avenue trolley line, parking and building access are usually the trickiest part of any pickup. Tell us in your text whether we should meet you at the front desk, leave the bag with a concierge, or call when we're outside. Many Uptown residents work long days downtown or in the Design District, so an evening pickup and a next-day return often fits better than trying to squeeze laundry into a weekend.
Good to know in Uptown
- Mention your building name and any gate or garage code when you text.
- Concierge or front-desk drop-off works well; just tell us who to ask for.
- Busy week? Ask for same-day: pickup by 11 AM and it comes back that day.
What goes in the bag? Everyday clothes, gym wear, sheets, towels and the button-downs you wear under a blazer, as long as they're washable. Keep dry-clean-only suits and dresses out, and tell us if you want anything washed cold or hung to dry. We weigh the bag at the store and text you the total before we bring it back, so there are no surprises on the bill.
Who uses laundry delivery in Uptown
Young professionals who'd rather spend Sunday at Katy Trail than in a laundry room, couples in one-bedroom high-rises with a single stacked washer, and anyone who travels for work and comes home to a suitcase full of clothes. The cost is easy to predict at $1.89 per pound: a typical week of clothes plus a set of sheets and towels often lands near the $35 minimum, and you'll get a text with the exact weight and total before your laundry comes back. If you run a small Uptown business, such as a studio, salon or boutique, ask about commercial pickups too.
